Import your catalogue from a spreadsheet

Bring your offers in from a CSV, Excel or JSON file instead of typing them one by one. Every import can be undone.

Step by step

1. Open Settings › Import (medica-algerie.com/en/app/parametres/import), or Import from the Catalogue.
2. In What to import, choose Offers (catalogue).
3. Download the Template and fill it, or use your own file (CSV, Excel .xlsx or JSON, 5 MB and 5,000 rows at most).
4. Click Choose a file.
5. Columns: match each Medica Algérie field with a column of your file. Every required field must be matched.
6. Preview: the summary shows the rows to import, with errors and already there. The Problems filter shows the rows to fix, with the reason (for instance "Product not in the catalogue: give its category to propose it", "Give the price, or « on quote »", "a three-letter currency code (DZD, EUR…)").
7. Tick All or nothing to refuse the whole file if a row has an error.
8. Click Import … rows.

A product missing from the catalogue but with its category given is proposed to the team, like a proposed page.

Undo an import

In the History, click Undo: the items it created are deleted.

Export

Export downloads your current offers, handy to update them in a spreadsheet and import them again.
