Glossary

Requester : A person or organisation asking for quotes. Not an account type: any account can request quotes.

Supplier : A company selling equipment or services: manufacturer, importer, distributor, reseller, technical service provider.

Company : What gets listed on Medica Algérie: profile, catalogue, received requests, team and subscription. One account can manage several companies.

Product page : The single page of a device (brand, model, specifications, documents). Each supplier attaches its offer to it.

Offer : A supplier's terms on a product page: condition, price or "on quote", availability, warranty, services.

Quote request : A requester's need (one or several items), reviewed by the team and sent to the relevant suppliers.

Direct request : A request addressed to a supplier chosen by the requester.

Quote : A supplier's priced proposal in answer to a request: amount, delivery time, warranty, terms, document.

Unlock : A supplier's access to a requester's contact details, counted in its plan.

Business category : A catalogue category in which a supplier declares it sells or works.

Area served : A wilaya where a supplier delivers, installs or services.

Claim : A request to take over a company or brand page already on the platform.

Verified : The badge the team grants after checking a company's legal documents.

Made in Algeria : The badge of Algerian brands and manufacturers, granted by the team.

Sponsored : An ad, always labelled as such.

Wilaya : One of Algeria's 58 provinces.
